Since moving to Cambridge and forming Bourbon Princess, Monique has written, performed, and arranged 3 full-length LPs, collaborated on several projects with many of Boston's heavyweights, completed a video, and won nominations for best female vocalist in the Boston Phoenix Best Music Poll and the Boston Music Awards. In November of 2004 she performed in the prestigious Jeff Buckley Tribute concert in Chicago, doing her own versions of "Moodswing Whiskey" And "I Woke Up In A Strange Place". Currently she is finishing-up a solo LP, and embarking on a new project with Morphine/Twinemen saxophonist Dana Colley. Aside from music, Monique has worked many years as a veterinary assistant in various animal shelters in Boston, Massachusetts and Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and continues to volunteer and support all causes related to the humane treatment of animals.
